Niger is currently navigating a profoundly complex period in its history. Against a backdrop of chronic food insecurity, climate shocks, and political instability—recently punctuated by a "general mobilization"—the country appears locked in a perpetual state of emergency. Yet, it is within this challenging environment that CISP remains committed to building a stable foundation for the future, turning emergency relief into a catalyst for long-term development.
CISP — which has been active in Niger for over twenty years — utilises a "Nexus" strategy. This approach bridges the gap between immediate humanitarian aid and long-term development. Our goal is not just to provide a temporary fix, but to build systems that foster independence and resilience.

Lebanon has plunged into a new and devastating phase of hostilities that began on March 2, 2026. In this scenario of extreme fragility, CISP—which has been present in the country since 1996—immediately activated its response capacity to support the thousands of families.
To address immediate needs, CISP has quickly reached an agreement to reallocate a portion of funds from ongoing AICS emergency projects. These resources will be used to distribute essential goods to displaced families and to improve conditions in collective shelters. Additionally, dialogue continues with the network of donors and humanitarian actors to expand the intervention in response to growing needs.
