Empowering grassroots civil society organisations for innovative environmental protection in Albania
Description
The Green-AL project contributes to the improvement and inclusion of environmental civil society organisations in effectively addressing environmental challenges in Albania.
The action focuses on strengthening networks of small local CSOs and creating new opportunities for collaboration between them, public authorities and the private sector at a local level in order to build a vibrant, empowered and collaborative civil society, starting from the grassroots and then impacting at a national level.
The project envisages the introduction and implementation of a multi-stakeholder response to urgent environmental needs, in line with the country's pressing environmental priorities and the SIDA/Sweden Strategy 2014-2020.
