The project produces locally and distributes infection prevention masks (in the framework of the agreement "Support for the COVID-19 response in Niger” that the European Union has signed with the Government of Niger).
The project also contributes to the economic development of young people by opening up employment prospects, particularly for women and vulnerable groups, with an emphasis on training to help integrate young people into sustainable employment.
The project strengthens the resilience and development capacity of the population of Niamey to cope with the health crisis and its socio-economic consequences.
