Social Empowerment - Provision of basic services such as psychosocial, educational and literacy support, entertainment/playing spaces and kindergarten, sports and socio-cultural activities for children, youth and vulnerable adults in the Old City.
Economic empowerment - Fostering employment opportunities for young people and their families through activation and/or support of vocational training activities geared towards marketing and small businesses, including the creation of a ceramics workshop.
Capacity building - Improving the empowerment, organisation and sustainability of the partner association - Burj Al Luq Social Center - through specific training courses for staff (English, organisation, management, administration, etc.) and a quality certification programme by an accredited external body.
