The Classe Rouge is a prototype of Classroom, proposed as a solution to the lack of school buildings in Niger, combining the adoption of locally available materials and the efficiency of the parabolic geometry to create a sustainable, bio-climatic and durable classroom. Niger has the higher population growth rate in the world, with the number of children increasing by 750.000 per year, requiring enormous efforts to ensure access to education for all. Quality school infrastructure plays a critical role in guaranteeing a safe learning environment for children.
The survey was carried out in over 30 countries and involved around 1000 children, boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 12 in each country, allowing them to evaluate their well-being. CISP participated in the survey both in Italy and Colombia.
The EU-funded CROSSDEV project – Cultural Routes for Sustainable Social and Economic Development in Mediterranean – is coming to an end after years of hard work in four Med countries: Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine.
The numerous successful stories and huge impact of the project on the working areas certainly call for celebrations.
